Learn About Me and How I Can Help.

is pain or injury stopping you from the active life you desire?

If you are on this page you are most likely in pain or have suffered an injury. You may not know what to do about your pain or injury so you are looking for answers.

Maybe you have tried multiple treatments? Or perhaps you have been told by your Doctor “You just need to rest.” However, after your rest you tried to go back to running or your preferred form of exercise only to find that the pain returned.

Many of my patients have tried pain medication only to find that they simply just mask the pain or that they are starting to become dependent on them. Many have also tried massage therapy to find that the pain is to return a few days later.

Some patients have also tried physiotherapy at another clinic, but were just given some exercise to do at home, modalities and a quick massage. Some have even had surgery to find that their problem was not fixed or even occasionally made worse.

Does any of this sound like your current situation?

Shawn is incredible. I go to him whenever I suffer from an injury, and my family also insists on having him treat them. He’s patient and knows exactly how to address the injury and proper treatment. Saulina M.

Shawn is a miracle worker and has helped me a lot through last year and again he’s at my rescue with this covid pandemic! He is knowledgeable and aware of what you need and require. Amazing work. Thank you so much Shawn! Lulia Q.

Shawn is an exceptional physiotherapist. He is very detailed in assessing and leaves no stone un-turned in finding the root cause. I always feel that he’s identified the correct problem source and recovery program. Someone you can trust with your health. Michael A.

Shawn is an amazing PT who listens to all of your concerns and adjusts your therapy accordingly. I would recommend his services to anyone in need of a complete care program. Toby S.

I’ve seen a few physiotherapists in the past and Shawn is in a whole league of his own. Not only is Shawn very knowledgeable about physical therapy and the body, but his attentiveness and care to his patients is truly outstanding and remarkable. I had knee pain that wouldn’t go away after a running injury, and I can’t say enough how incredible Shawn was at helping me recover. His attention to detail, energy and patience at ensuring you receive proper care are invaluable and made all the difference at figuring out how to resolve my knee pain and also find and adress other underlying issues to help improve my overall body strength. Because he genuinely cares for patients and actually and deeply understands body mechanics at a systems level, Shawn is able to diagnose more complex cases and offer multiple solutions and troubleshoot throughout the treatment process. He is an exceptional physiotherapist and most highly recommended for any sort of knee pain, back pain, shoulder pain, or wherever you might be hurting. Gina S.

I started seeing Shawn for dry needling and manual therapy to help treat IT band syndrome. I was about midway on my training journey for my first Ironman when I started to get ITBS. Before Shawn, I had been told by a prior physiotherapist to stop running. But, that wasn’t in my plan. I was really discouraged when I met Shawn but instantly relieved when he told me that I was going to run again. He said that I need to work within my limits and build up again. We had weekly treatment sessions and Shawn quickly got me on a walk/run progression plan that we adjusted along the way. I started running again from scratch in mid-May and am very pleased to share that I just finished my first Ironman last week PAIN FREE all thanks to Shawn. There is no way I would have made it across the finish line without his treatments. Shawn is very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, professional and most importantly – he cares so much about his Clients and their progress. If ever I had a issue/concern or question outside of treatments, he was quick to check-in and reassure me. I would highly recommend working with Shawn.

Shawn is the greatest physio I ever met since I moved to Toronto. He’s very nice, skilled and is able to help you with any type of issue. Shawn was able to help me with my knee pain, doing manual therapy together with dry needling and exercise.
