hour with our clients and provide a combination of manual therapy (hands on treatment), dry needling,
running injury analysis, specific exercise therapy, and a detailed running plan to get you back on track.

I had sprained my ankle a few years ago, and never fully recovered from the injury. I couldn’t go for a run without limping for days after (and I’m in my late 20s!). I had gone to a physio clinic after the injury, which helped a bit, but I couldn’t get back to my activities (running, playing sports). Shawn quickly identified that the physio plan I had received at the clinic had plateaued, and he put me on a new personalized plan. Rather than working on one isolated area, Shawn realizes that other areas are impacted, and works on your body as a whole.

Running 5k regularly and upping my workout regimen resulted in my patellofemoral syndrome and baker’s cyst. This stopped me from doing many activities I loved for 5 years or so and prevented me from passing a physical for a dream career. I had tried different methods to no avail including many different physiotherapists, acupuncture, orthotics, and a surgery consult. One physio even recommended a robotic knee brace device. Shawn worked with me using various treatments (including manual therapy and dry needling), and tailored an individual stretching, strengthening and running program to help me get back to full strength in a very narrow window. I like that he did not let me stop running completely, but worked me back up to be able to run an 80km ultra trail race after only 3.5 months. He diligently followed up on my progress and was available to give advice when I missed a workout or had any discomfort. I also appreciate that he showed me how to tape my leg, so I could do it myself when at a race.
