Registered Physiotherapist and Founder of Shawn Williams Physiotherapy, Toronto, On
Shawn Williams helps busy working professionals in Toronto who are suffering from pain or injury to quickly return to running, exercise, or sports, and an active healthy lifestyle.
If you are on this page you are most likely in pain or have suffered an injury.
You may not know what to do about your pain or injury so you are looking for answers.
Maybe you have tried multiple treatments?
Or perhaps you have been told by your Doctor “You just need to rest.” However, after your rest you tried to go back to running or your preferred form of exercise only to find that the pain returned.
Many of my patients have tried pain medication only to find that they simply just mask the pain or that they are starting to become dependent on them.
Many of my patients have tried massage therapy to find that the pain is to return a few days later.
Many of my patients have also tried physiotherapy at another clinic however they were just given some exercise to do at home, modalities and a quick massage.
Some have even had surgery to find that their problem was not fixed or even occasionally made worse.
Does any of this sound familiar?
